## What's free, and what isn't

Tracking apps have a habit of moving features people relied on behind a paywall after the fact. This page exists so you can check what you'd be relying on before you invest months of logging in it — and hold us to it afterwards.

### The principle: what costs us nothing stays free

Glipath keeps your data on your phone, so logging a dose, drawing a chart or exporting your history costs us nothing per person — and things that cost nothing are free. The exceptions are the features with a real bill attached: AI photo scans call a vision model, and iCloud sync is a separate one-time purchase. That is the whole logic, and it is why the free tier is not a trial that shrinks.

### Your data is yours, on the free tier

CSV and JSON export are free and unlimited. You can take everything you have logged and leave, at any time, without paying — and if you stop paying, you never lose access to what you already recorded, because it was never on our servers to withhold. ### The honest trade-off

Local-first cuts both ways. Because your log lives on your phone rather than our servers, we cannot lose it in an outage, leak it, or hold it hostage — and we also cannot restore it for you if you lose the phone and have no backup. That is what optional iCloud sync is for, and it is a one-time purchase rather than a subscription. We would rather state that plainly than let you find out later.
